Breeze Hill Ranch is a working 600 acre ranch with horse barns and training corrals, grazing pastures with long horn steer, gardens, a converted ranch hand/guest cottage, and the owners two dogs.  Fracturing the 4,480 square foot plan into small, recognizable elements allows the residence to become a place that belongs among the existing amenities in character and scale.  Standing seam metal roofing relates to the barn material, smooth cedar siding recalls a log cabin that once graced the property, and the crushed stone motor court compliments existing driveways.  A grain silo was finished out to serve as the fitness room.  Inside, the plan is open with spaces flowing one to another.  A contemporary interior architecture creates an oasis from the work of the day.  The minimalist approach is highlighted with high quality materials and hardware.   Radiant, exposed, concrete floors throughout not only provide a worn patina character but withstand dirt covered cowboy boots.
